Connecticut Council of Bar
Presidents
Establised in 1975, the Connecticut Council of Bar Presidents' primary purpose is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, activities and information between the state bar association and local, county and specialty bar associations. Other objectives of the Council are to enhance the relationship between the legal profession, the general public, the news media and the members of the General Assembly; to advance the leadership of the organized bar in matters of public importance in the state; to promote the standing of the legal profession and its practitioners in local communities; and to improve the practice of law and the administration of justice in Connecticut.
