PRO BONO LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Attorneys who provide legal services pro bono do not expect payment for their
time and legal expertise. Attorneys, like other professionals, want to use
their specialized knowledge to help people and their communities. They
have a special interest in ensuring that the legal system provides justice
for all.
In the state of Connecticut, Statewide Legal Services acts as the clearinghouse
