What Connecticut Business and Finance Lawyers Should Know About Connecticut Environmental, Brownfields & Remediation Regulation

About the Program:

The speakers will discuss environmental issues to be considered in a commercial transaction and practical approaches to addressing those issues. They will generally touch on the liability related issues affecting buyers, sellers and lenders, and how the issues can be negotiated and addressed in the deal documents. In doing so, they will review significant recurring issues such as the Transfer Act, underground tanks, remediation options and ELURs.  Erin Dorman, Esq., a Senior Vice President of Webster Bank, will give a banker’s perspective on these issues.
