The Civics Education Committee cordially invites all members to join us at the Appellate Court for the CBA's annual Law Day Ceremony on Wednesday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m.  At this year's ceremony, we will celebrate our nation's commitment to the rule of law by commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark decision in Miranda v. Arizona through our interactive program, Miranda: More Than Words. In Miranda: More Than Words, students from the Bennie Dover Middle School in New London and the CREC Public Safety Academy in Enfield will act as a student review panel to demonstrate Miranda's importance in protecting the constitutional rights of all Americans.  We encourage all CBA members to join us at the Appellate Court for what promises to be an educational and entertaining presentation by our student partners.
