Presented by the Young Lawyers Section Women in the Law Committee
This event will give attendees an opportunity to participate in golf instruction (tailored to varying ability levels), network with other female attorneys, and attend a lunch presentation on the usefulness of golf to networking in the legal profession. Golf clubs will be provided upon request at no additional cost.
Luncheon Keynote Speaker:
Kori Termine Wisneski is the Deputy General Counsel for the City of Middletown. In this role, she serves her hometown and the Middletown Board of Education as counsel on all city legal affairs, which include litigation, labor and employment matters, zoning appeals, contract review and negotiation, FOIA requests and responses, and more. Prior to joining public service, she was a litigation attorney at Robinson+Cole in Hartford and also served as an Adjunct for the Lawyering Process Class at UConn Law School. Attorney Wisneski previously co-chaired the Women in the Law Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. In that role and with the help of her co-chair at the time, she developed the Women’s Professional Golf Event. The original intent of this program was to foster a comfortable environment where female attorneys could learn the sport and become familiar with game etiquette so as not to be left out of an important summer meeting on the golf course. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Eamonn, and children, Jack and Zoë, and is always up for a round of golf!
