About the Program
Learn how to improve diversity and inclusion in your workplace. This program will provide a historical perspective on addressing equality, diversity, and opportunities for all lawyers in both the private and public sectors.  In the second part of the program, a diverse and experienced legal panel will discuss discrimination, inequality, diversity and inclusion, and what needs to be done to improve the Connecticut legal environment and workplace.

You Will Learn

  • What it was like to practice law in the public and private sectors over the last four decades as a minority attorney
  • How discrimination and inequality still exist in the legal profession and what efforts need to be and have been made to reduce those injustices, as well as ways to advance the cause of diversity and inclusion in public and private legal sectors
  • Information that allows attendees to suggest or implement changes to help eliminate or minimize inequality, as well as improve diversity and inclusion, in their respective legal workplaces

Who Should Attend
