On Friday, September 11, the Department of Veterans Affairs hosted Stand Down 2015 at the CT Veterans Home in Rocky Hill. Thank you to all of the attorney members who volunteered their time at the CBA booth to answer veterans' questions on various issues, including housing, finance, and employment.

Stand Down is a military term originating from times of war when exhausted combat troops were given the opportunity to return to a place of relative security to rest and recover. Stand Downs today have become common as a means to care for and advocate for homeless veterans.
