CBA Nominating Committee Looking to Fill Officer Positions

Serving the legal profession by becoming a leader of the Connecticut Bar Association can be a highly rewarding experience and an opportunity to make a difference. CBA members are encouraged to submit their own names, or names of other CBA members who have an interest in serving as officers of the association, to the Nomination Committee.
We are currently looking to fill the vice president, secretary, treasurer, and assistant secretary-treasurer positions for the 2017-2018 Bar Year.
The vice president position must be filled by a nominee who is registered with the CBA from New Haven County in accordance with the CBA Constitution and its policy of geographically rotating the CBA president's track position, (the CBA vice president traditionally advances to CBA president-elect and, ultimately, to CBA president).
The secretary, treasurer, and assistant secretary-treasurer positions are not geographically restricted.
Each nominated name should be accompanied by a biographical sketch or resume detailing participation in activities including CBA governance; membership on the House of Delegates, Board of Governors, sections, or committees; involvement with other local, county, or specialty bar associations; and volunteer and community activities, particularly those related to the practice of law, such as pro bono service, service as a trial referee, and service on bar examining or standing committees.
