Information for Paralegals
Are you a paralegal looking to keep updated in the law and network with fellow colleagues? Paralegals are classified as Associate Members and pay a reduced fee for membership to the Connecticut Bar Association. As a CBA Associate Member, paralegals can take advantage of all the great benefits a CBA membership has to offer. From free access to online legal research through Casemaker® to participation in the Paralegals Section, there is no better way for a Connecticut paralegal to stay on the pulse of the law in Connecticut through membership in the CBA.
Those who are paralegal students, enrolled in an ABA–approved paralegal program can become a CBA member for FREE! Universities with ABA-approved paralegal studies programs include:
University of Hartford (www.hartford.edu)
Quinnipiac University (www.quinnipiac.edu)
Lincoln College of New England (www.lincolncollegene.edu)
Manchester Community College (www.mcc.commnet.edu)
Norwalk Community College (www.ncc.commnet.edu)
Additionally, whether you are joining the CBA as an Associate Member or a Paralegal Student, consider also joining the CBA Paralegals Section. Membership to the Section is a modest $30 a year. Click here to access the Paralegals Section web page.
