Description: This seminar will cover the fundamentals of consumer law from both the perspective of the collector or lender and debtor.  Hear from practitioners on compliance, defenses, statutory protection, as well as legal procedure and limitations in collections actions and repossessions under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Creditor Collection Practices Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
