About the Program

The purpose of this seminar is to further educate attendees on areas of cultural humility that arise in our work and personal lives. This is beyond the basics of diversity, equity, and inclusion and delves into the more subtle ways discrimination, unfair treatment, insensitivity, and bias may be occurring and ways to identify and correct the behavior.

You Will Learn

Sensitivity to areas in which implicit bias may exist in your everyday work and personal life and how to identify and address that bias in a productive and positive manner
About cultural humility, cultural erasure, and cultural competency
The value of cultural humility in you professional and personal life

CLE Credits

CLE Credit: 2.0 CT (Ethics); 2.0 NY (D&I)

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for non-transitional CLE credits. 

Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, or a fully interactive videoconference. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
