About the Program
This program will give a practical overview of C-PACE finance and legislation as it relates to commercial real estate transactions and investments/improvements by property owners. In particular, it will focus on how C-PACE can be a powerful tool for real estate owners in a challenging economy by allowing for retroactive financing of eligible projects, as well as delayed repayment schedules.

- What entities and types of projects are eligible for PACE financing in CT
- How lawyers interface with borrowers, private lenders, municipality, and CT Green Bank as PACE assessment are originated and administered
- How PACE assessments are considered in property transfer situations
- General information about PACE to-date (size of the market, history of legislation, consumer protection)
Who Should Attend
Any in-house counsel or any attorney who advises clients on business and commercial real estate transactions and wants to get a better understanding of this new commercial finance product that has grown out of a public-private partnership between private capital providers and the State of Connecticut.
