To slow COVID-19's spread, stabilize courts, and protect litigants' rights, the Governor's Office issued a raft of executive orders between March 2020 and now. Statutes of limitation were suspended, virtual notarization was authorized, and court deadlines were postponed. Litigation ground to a halt, then began to resume, still subject to many of these orders. Attorney Dalena has been in the thick of it, as Deputy General Counsel to Governor Ned Lamont.
