Program Description

This presentation will illustrate the use of SPIA’s for preserving assets for the community spouse, as well as factors that could mitigate its effectiveness. The primary focus, however, will be how to combine gifts and SPIAs for single individuals. Multiple examples will be presented, to highlight how to effectively use such annuities, and to demystify the mathematics involved in the calculations.
