David Baghdady is the CT State Manager and Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Prior to joining Stewart in 2016, he was employed with First American Title Insurance Company for 16 years, where he last served as its State Counsel and spearheaded the company’s underwriting, training and educational initiatives. David is a 1993 graduate of The Quinnipiac College School of Law and worked in his own practice for seven years before transitioning to the title insurance industry in October of 2000. Throughout his career, he has been a frequent speaker for company-sponsored programs, the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers’ Association, local bar associations, lenders and realtors on a range of underwriting and industry-related issues.
