About the Program:
This program will include everything an attorney needs to know to successfully litigate a domestic violence case from start to finish. The training will include an in-depth discussion on protective and restraining orders and improve understanding on how to analyze domestic violence cases within the criminal justice context. 

You Will Learn:

  • Review of current laws regarding Protective Orders and Restraining Orders.
  • Improve understanding of the practical and legal impacts of Protective Orders and Restraining Orders.
  • Expand attendees’ ability to evaluate and analyze domestic violence cases.
  • Better understand defendant’s and victim’s interactions with the criminal justice system
