Program Description:
This panel format presentation will be based on several hypothetical fact situations common to tax law practice. You are encouraged to raise you own hypotheticals with the panel, as well.

You will learn about:

  • Errors in Favor of Your Client by the Tax Authorities
  • How to Respond to the IRS Not Being Aware of Relevant Facts
  • How to Represent a Client Whose Competency Falls Into Doubt During Representation
  • Whether and How to Respond to a Client's Anticipated Non-Compliance with Disclosure Rules
  • How to Advise a Client When you Discover Errors in Past Year Tax Positions
