Plenary Workshop
Measuring the Invisible: How Inclusion Drives Employee Happiness and Company Performance

Description

It's been said that diversity is being invited to the party, and inclusion is being asked to dance. But while this makes sense intuitively, how does it help leaders navigate tactical and strategic aspects of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)? We have developed a unique framework to define and measure inclusion. In this session, we explain how and why inclusion drives greater employee satisfaction and firm performance, while fostering greater diversity, and we show how to link specific D&I inclusion initiatives to traditional business KPIs and to employee satisfaction. After introducing these key concepts, the workshop shifts into a hands-on “Inclusion Assessment” in which we explore Categories of Inclusion and participants share specific experiences using our online tool. Following the exercise, we will present a real-time analysis of the data collected during the exercise, to get an immediate demonstration of the quantitative measurements of inclusion among members of the audience. The presentation concludes with a discussion of specific, practical actions and resources that can help participants increase inclusion within their firms.

You Will Learn

  • Why inclusion is invisible

  • How to create a culture of inclusion in your firm
