Event Details
Meet your networking and fitness goals by attending this YLS Meet and Hike. This event offers you an opportunity to meet with fellow attorneys that share an interest in hiking and nature. And, did we mention that there is a good chance that you will see seals? Yes!
Attendees will meet at the kiosk in front of the Meigs Point Nature Center for a 1.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Madison, Connecticut, and is good for all skill levels.
Attendance is limited to 30 individuals so don’t wait to sign up and join us for what should be a fun fellowship event!
Program occurring rain or shine, however, cancellation will occur if impending lightning.
General Safety
Attendees should wear proper attire with particular attention to footwear, which should provide adequate traction for park trails. Attendees should also be hydrated in advance of the hike, and bring at least water on the hike itself. Attendees should eat breakfast before the hike, and bring a light snack as well. Although the hike is rated moderate, there are a few scrambles; attendees are encouraged to respect their physical abilities and proceed with caution.
COVID Safety
We require that all in-person visitors to the building or off-site CBA-hosted events review our In-person Visitor and Event Attendance Policy. If you register to attend this event in-person, you must attest that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in accordance with CDC recommendations, or will obtain a viral COVID test administered by a healthcare professional within the 72 hours preceding the event, and only attend the in-person event if the test is negative.
