LEGISLATIVE SESSION
The 2020 session is in full swing with bill lists being introduced each day and being reviewed by our CBA section chairs and legislative liaisons. Feel free to contact them for more information.
There are a considerable number of challenging bills being introduced this year, and it’s questionable how much significant legislation will get passed through both chambers. This week there will be public hearings that will include Aid in Dying (Aging) and immunizations (Public Health). There could be an introduction this week on the senate and house floors on tolls and transportation funding. Proposed legislation in the past week include sports wagering, the adult use of cannabis, statute of limitations, and a cap on insulin cost.
