Jennifer G. Brown will receive the Tapping Reeve Legal Educator Award at the CBA’s annual awards celebration, Celebrate with the Stars, on Wednesday, July 22. She is currently serving as the interim executive vice president and provost at Quinnipiac University.

Vice President Brown joined the Quinnipiac School of Law faculty in 1994 and has served in numerous roles, including director of Quinnipiac’s Center on Dispute Resolution. In 2013, she was appointed dean of Quinnipiac University School of Law. She has taught as a visiting professor in the law schools at Yale, Georgetown, and Harvard. Her areas of expertise include alternative dispute resolution, LGBT legal issues, and lawyers' professional responsibility.

The Tapping Reeve Legal Educator Award is presented to a law school faculty member who has demonstrated sustained commitment and made significant contributions to the cause of legal education, and has distinguished themselves as a legal educator of the highest quality as a teacher or scholarly writer.
