During the COVID-19 pandemic, Attorney Marc Finer is providing ongoing pro bono legal assistance to Connecticut Veterans Legal Center (CVLC) by interpreting the complicated and changing legal application of the CARES ACT as it applies to disabled veterans’ eligibility in receiving the economic impact payments. Because of Attorney Finer legal counseling, CVLC is able to quickly disseminate ways in which the CARES ACT can increase a disabled veteran’s income during these uncertain financial times.
Attorney Finer is a member of the CBA's Pro Bono Committee and Tax Section. He is a partner at Murtha Cullina LLP and chair of the Tax Practice Group and firm's Pro Bono Committee.
