Member Spotlight | Austin Berescik-Johns

Attorney Berescik-Johns has nearly a decade of experience practicing law and opened his own firm, Law Office of Austin B. Johns LLC, in 2016. From his significant experience, to his involvement in chambers at the Federal District Court of Connecticut, he has directed many complex legal issues and cases.    

Attorney Berescik-Johns has been involved with the YLS for eight years, serving in many roles, including on various substantive law committees and chairing the YLS’ legislative affairs efforts. For three years, he served as a American Bar Association House of Delegate representative, and advocated for national policy change. 

The Young Lawyers Section Vanguard Award is presented to a current or recent member of the CBA-YLS executive committee who has made outstanding and significant contributions to the YLS and the Bar Association over an extended period of time.
