National Disability Employment Awareness Month Member Spotlight | Michelle M. Duprey

Michelle M. Duprey has been a leader in ADA compliance in the State of Connecticut for more than 25 years, both in her official capacity and personally. Her goal is a better community for everyone, especially those living with disabilities. Attorney Duprey is currently serving as the director of the Department of Services for Persons with Disabilities for the City of New Haven, a position she has held for more than 20 years. She is a frequent presenter on topics of ADA compliance, diversity, and the disability community.

Attorney. Duprey has been a longtime member of CBA’s Labor & Employment Section and Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and is a past chair of the Human Rights & Responsibilities section. She has served on the board of the Connecticut ACLU and the Osteogenisis Imperfecta Foundation and on many statewide committees, and written for numerous publications, including the CBA’s CT Lawyer Magazine and Compensation Quarterly.

Attorney Duprey is one of four CBA members that will be honored at the UConn School of Law Alumni Association's Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Tuesday, October 13 at 6 p.m. She will receive the Public Service Award.
