Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month Member Spotlight | Marie C. Bertrand

Marie C. Bertrand is a partner at Day Pitney LLP in Hartford. Her practice focuses on acquisition, disposition, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate. She serves in a leadership role with the Day Pitney Attorneys of Color Network, which focuses on promoting diversity in the legal profession. Attorney Bertrand was recognized as a New Leader in the Law by the Connecticut Law Tribune in 2015. She is also a Connecticut Bar Foundation James W. Cooper Fellow.

Attorney Bertrand has served as vice president (2016-2017) and president (2018-2019) of the Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA), has served as the secretary of the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity (2017-2019), and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Commercial Finance Section.
