Erin Oneil BakerAttorney Erin O’Neil-Baker is a Connecticut attorney that focuses her practice on immigration law. She has practiced for more than two decades and formed her own firm, O’Neil Baker Law LLC, in 2005. Her practice focuses on pursuing legal permanent status and citizenship for foreign nationals and defending individuals in removal/deportation proceedings in Connecticut and Massachusetts.


In addition to the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA), Attorney O’Neil-Baker is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association and national and state chapters of the American Immigration Law Association. She is the co-chair of the CBA Immigration Law Committee, chair of the CBA Pro Bono Connect Program, a member of the CBA Pro Bono Committee, and served as secretary of the CBA during the 2020-2021 bar year. She is admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Fifth Circuit; and Superior Court of Connecticut. She was selected as the Hartford Business Journal Women in Business honoree in 2014 and has been a presenter for the Windham Women and Girls Fund, the American Association of University Women, CT Coalition for Domestic Violence, and the United Labor Agency. Attorney O’Neil-Baker works with C4D (Students for a Dream) presenting “Know Your Rights” trainings for undocumented individuals across the state.  She is the co-founder of Project Represent, a pro bono attorney training program that matches attorneys with Guatemalan asylum seekers who reside in Windham County.
