Dale C. Roberson
Dale C. Roberson will receive The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award at the CBA’s annual awards celebration, Celebrate with the Stars, on Wednesday, April 20. He is a partner at Marder Roberson & DeFelice Law Offices LLC in Vernon. Attorney Roberson has actively participated in pro bono work through Statewide Legal Services since the organization began operating in 1996.
Throughout his 25 years of pro bono work, Attorney Roberson has accepted over 35 referrals, representing clients in a wide array of legal areas, including family, bankruptcy, and consumer law as well as school disciplinary matters. He often advocates on behalf of children who have committed first-time offenses, arguing for the use of reform and redemption opportunities over punitive measures.
The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award recognizes CBA members who demonstrated dedication to the provision of legal services without expectation of payment to those in need. He is one of four attorneys receiving the award this year.
