Beck Fineman is an equity partner of Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP (RRD) and the first openly transgender equity partner of a private law firm in Connecticut.  He litigates cases on behalf of the firm’s corporate, governmental, and individual clients, with a focus on appeals, labor and employment, railroad, and personal injury. Beck helps lead his firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is actively involved in statewide measures to increase equity throughout the Connecticut bar. He currently serves as the chair and previously served as the treasurer of the Connecticut Bar Association’s LGBT Section.

In 2012, Attorney Fineman founded RRD’s Volunteer Corps, through which he leads the firm’s outreach to individuals and families in need throughout Fairfield County. He is a vice chairperson of the Board of Directors for Family Equality, a national non-profit organization working to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families. He is also a member of the organization’s policy committee. He serves on the Board of Directors for Lambda Legal, the oldest and largest legal organization whose mission is to realize full recognition of the civil rights of the LGBTQ community. Additionally, Attorney Fineman has been selected as a Fellow and serves as a “Knight of the Roundtables” for the Connecticut Bar Foundation. The Roundtables, organized and moderated by the Knights, provide Fellows an opportunity to examine timely issues involving the practice of law.
