Ogilvie-Moy-Bio2-414x456Moy N. Ogilvie is the Hartford office managing partner at McCarter & English LLP. Her areas of practice include product liability, toxic tort, and pharmaceutical matters. She handles state and federal court matters involving exposure to various chemicals or products such as petroleum products, solvents, benzene, silica, asbestos, radiation and PCBs. Attorney Ogilvie has served as national coordinating counsel for an international company’s toxic tort docket. She has also handled a diverse array of business litigation matters. She regularly handles pro bono matters for Lawyers for Children America and other organizations.

Attorney Ogilvie was appointed by Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont to serve on the Connecticut Criminal Justice Commission. In addition, she currently sits on the boards of directors of the Connecticut Bar Foundation, Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity, and the Hartford Youth Scholars. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Pandemic Recovery and Future of Court Technology Task Force.

In 2017, Attorney Ogilvie was appointed McCarter & English’s Diversity & Inclusion Partner. In this role, she coordinates and implements the Firm’s initiatives designed to enhance the recruitment, development, promotion, and retention of women and diverse attorneys.
