Kathy Flaherty has served as the executive director of Connecticut Legal Rights Project Inc (CLRP) since 2015. She previously worked as a staff attorney at Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut, Connecticut Legal Services, and Greater Hartford Legal Aid. Attorney Flaherty combines her personal experience as a recipient of mental health services and her legal background to speak to issues affecting those living with mental health conditions.
Attorney Flaherty serves on the CBA’s Lawyer Well-Being Committee and represents CLRP as a Connecticut Legal Community’s Diversity & Inclusion Pledge Signatory. She is the vice president of the Board of Directors of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers-CT and a member of the Connecticut Cross Disability Lifespan Alliance’s Steering Committee.
