Scott T. Garosshen maintains a state and national appellate practice at Robinson & Cole LLP in Hartford. Attorney Garosshen’s work has ranged from successfully persuading the Connecticut Supreme Court to enforce a contract regarding frozen embryos upon divorce, to securing appellate reversal in a choice-of-law battle over an arbitration agreement, to pro bono work on the
Sheff v. O’Neill Connecticut school desegregation lawsuit.
Attorney Garosshen is a member of the CBA’s LGBT Section and served for several years on the Connecticut Appellate Diversity Subcommittee of the CBA Appellate Advocacy Section, co-drafting a report and recommendations to the judicial branch on efforts to diversify the appellate bar. Attorney Garosshen also serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the Appellate Advocacy Section and Chair of the Litigation Section.
In their free time, Attorney Garosshen enjoys rock climbing (mostly indoor), hiking (mostly outdoor), and deep, searching dialogues about the nature of contractual dispute resolution (can be either).
