The rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) usage has led to a myriad of complex legal, ethical, and practical questions. Perhaps the most front of mind for many practitioners is simply: “should I be engaging with this new technology at all; and if so, how?” This CLE aims to provide practitioners with practical, everyday examples (particularly in the intellectual property space) of how AI platforms can be used to enhance an attorney’s practice, while also balancing the discussion with best practices firms are implementing to mitigate the risks associated with the usage of this technology. This presentation is geared towards individuals of all levels of familiarity with AI/LLMs, including those with little or no experience with these platforms. All are welcome.
