2022 Legislative Session

AT THE CAPITOL

Bills are being raised through the end of February and virtual public hearings start this week. Note in the public hearing link the process for committee hearings and the presentation and submission of testimony.

Senate Democrats are proposing their legislative initiatives this year, such as:

  • Increasing mental health and health service for school children
  • Clean air/climate change
  • Gun violence prevention
  • Cybersecurity initiatives

JUDICIAL RENOMINATIONS

Additional Judicial Renominations will be heard this Friday, February 25, by the Judiciary Committee through a virtual public hearing. The following judges are being renominated at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom and YouTube Live. Email written testimony to JUDtestimony@cga.ct.gov.

COMMISSION ON CONNECTICUT’S DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE
SEWERAGE WORKING GROUP

The Sewerage Working Group of the Commission on Connecticut's Development and Future will hold a meeting, for a presentation by DEEP on sewerage and wastewater issues, on Wednesday, February 23, at 12:00 p.m. via Zoom.  The meeting can be viewed via YouTube Live.  In addition, the meeting may be recorded and broadcast live on CT-N.com.

COMMISSION ON CONNECTICUT’S DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE
SEWERAGE WORKING GROUP
