PRO BONO LEGAL ASSISTANCE

Attorneys who provide legal services pro bono do not expect payment for their time and legal expertise. Attorneys, like other professionals, want to use their specialized knowledge to help people and their communities. They have a special interest in ensuring that the legal system provides justice for all.

In the state of Connecticut, Statewide Legal Services acts as the clearinghouse for most pro bono inquiries. To find out if you qualify for free legal counsel on civil (non criminal) issues, call (800)453-3320 or visit www.slsct.org.

The following agencies use Statewide Legal Services for client intake:
