Record breaking temperatures were the perfect setting for the CBA’s record breaking 2008 Annual Meeting on Monday. This year’s Annual Meeting was an overwhelming success, with record attendance, great feedback on CLE Seminars, and the premiere of three new CBA publications. Over 900 members took the lead, attending several of the 26 CLE Seminars offered throughout the day, visiting two on-site authors for book signings, and accompanying fellow members to the Bench/Bar Luncheon and the Annual Dinner. The day concluded with the induction of new officers at the Annual Dinner and the presentation of the Edward F. Hennessey Professionalism Award, the John Eldred Shields Distinguished Professional Service Award, and the Distinguished Public Service Award. Thank you to everyone who attended for helping to make this the best CBA Annual Meeting yet!
