FOR THE MEDIA

Media & PR Services:

The CBA provides a variety of helpful resources to members of Connecticut's news media. Marketing communications staff handles more than two hundred inquiries from the media and the general public each year. Media representatives are directed to knowledgeable contacts within the CBA and the legal community as sources of law-related information. The CBA produces news releases about important developments, including the election of officers, major policy positions, and significant activities or projects. Staff can also help CBA sections and committees promote events of interest to the legal profession and the public.

Media and the Law Committee:

The CBA's Media and the Law Committee brings together those CBA members practicing in the fields of Freedom of Information, First Amendment, privacy, and other areas with members of Connecticut's print, radio, and television media to discuss current issues affecting this practice area, to educate both groups on the legal issues affecting these radically and rapidly developing subject areas and to foster a positive relationship between the CBA and Connecticut's media. Visit the Media and the Law Committee Web page.
