At the event, the first CBA Legislator of the Year award was given to Representative Christopher R. Stone of East Hartford. "Rep. Stone represents the proud traditions of the legal profession and the ideals for which the CBA stands," said Mr. Pepe, the CBA president. "He has a dedication to public service. He has the respect of his peers in the General Assembly for his integrity and commitment to others. He is proud to call himself a lawyer. He ably balances the practice of law in a small firm and family life. For these reasons, Rep. Stone makes an ideal recipient of the inaugural CBA Legislator of the Year Award. He will be a strong example for others to follow."
The LawPAC Board of Trustees thanks all of the supporters of the fundraiser and gratefully acknowledges the generous contributions received from the following individuals as well as those firms who have purchased ads in the 2005 fundraiser ad book.
