On May 10, 2007, the YLS Women in the Law Committee will sponsor a day-long conference titled “Connecticut Women Lawyers: Pathways to Success.” The conference is designed to give women attorneys the inspiration and resources to succeed in their careers. The conference will include several panels of women attorneys speaking on topics ranging from work/life balance to business development.
The centerpiece of the conference will be the awards luncheon at which Secretary of the State of Connecticut Susan Bysiewicz will deliver the keynote address and the first-ever Ladder Award will be presented to the Honorable Anne C. Dranginis, Rome McGuigan, Hartford. Judge Dranginis is being recognized for the significant contributions she has made to mentoring and supporting women in the legal profession, as well as to making a difference in women’s lives in the community.
