About the Program:
Organized by the section's newly created Entertainment Committee, this program will include apresentation to discuss basic legal considerations when representing performance artists, producers and entertainment venues. The program is open to all CBA members and their non-member guests, but is especially geared toward solo/small firm practitioners, law students as well as experienced attorneys looking to enter into, or expand an entertainment practice.
Representing Music and Entertainment Venues
Attorney James P. Sandler and special guest, legendary music promoter and Connecticut resident, Jim Koplik, President of "Live Nation" and owner of Hartford’s Xfinity Theater.
Representing Performing Artists
Attorney Michael F. Freeman with special musical guest speaker, two time Grammy Award nominee, Jim Chapdelaine. An area resident, Jim is a luminary on the national music scene with versatile accomplishments as a musician, composer, producer, and teacher.
Representing Clients who engage in Television and Film Production:
Attorney Alan Neigher and special guest speaker, award winning director, producer, and founder of Wanderlust Films, Greg Friedle.
The evening includes a back stage tour of Infinity Hall and a networking social hour in the Infinity Hall Bistro complimentary appetizers provided by Elkinson & Sloves Marketing Group.
