About the Program

“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines

of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
                                                                                  — Martin Luther King, Jr.

Many organizations face challenges when implementing diversity and inclusion. What if there was a blueprint to assist all organizations, small and large, in achieving their diversity goals?

The Diversity & Inclusion Summit: The Collaborative Blueprint is an innovative and collaborative professional development experience designed to empower leaders in the legal profession to take action toward making Connecticut a more diverse and inclusive bench and bar. Through collaborative workshops and panel discussions, you will gain knowledge and inspiration to help you lead your organization into a revolutionary transformation that will make a positive effect in the realm of diversity and inclusion in the state of Connecticut.

You Will Learn:

  • How implicit bias impacts workplace performance
  • Why diversity and inclusion is important for the legal profession’s continued growth
  • Practical strategies to implement diversity and inclusion within your organization
  • How to track and measure your progress using best practice benchmarks
