Estates and Probate OPEN Section Meeting

Program:   Connecticut's Statutory Spousal Shares

Presenter:  Amy L. Y. Day, Esq.

Amy will explore Connecticut's two shares provided by statute for surviving spouses of testate decedents, and recent cases affecting these shares.

Amy L. Y. Day is a partner in the Westport, Connecticut office of McLaughlin & Stern.  She was a founding partner of Day & Levy, LLC.  Amy is the immediate past Chair of the CBA Estates and Probate Section, of which she has been a member for more than 25 years. She is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County.  Amy is a graduate of Smith College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law
