Program Description:
Quinnipiac University Law Professor John Thomas will discuss his use of current events, cases, and legislation, from the litigation regarding President Trump's Executive Order concerning immigration to "The Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) (Pub.L. 114-222)," in teaching civil procedure. He will also discuss how he incorporates pleading and motion drafting and a mock trial into his course.
