On May 25, 32 CBA members were sworn into the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. The trip to Washington, DC for the swearing in was organized by past Young Lawyers Section (YLS) chair Cindy Cieslak, who currently serves as the Connecticut Young Lawyer Division delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates.

Prior to being sworn in, the CBA members were present for the issuing of three decisions by the court, 22-210 Dupree v. Younger issued by Justice Amy Coney Barrett, 21-454 Sackett v. EPA issued by Justice Samuel Alito, and 21-166 Tyler v. Hennepin County issued by Chief Justice John Roberts. Attorney Cieslak presented the motion to admit the CBA members to the Court and Chief Justice Roberts admitted the group, with the attorneys then taking an oath, swearing to protect the Constitution of the United States of America. Chief Justice Roberts also took time to speak with and congratulate the attorneys on their admittance.

Following the swearing in, the CBA group held a celebratory brunch where YLS Chair Christopher A. Klepps addressed the group with a toast, congratulating his colleagues for their admittance to the bar of the Supreme Court.
