CBA Offices Held: President (2015-2016); President-elect (2014-2015); chair of the Pro Bono Committee; and chair of the Consumer Law Section, Federal Judiciary Committee, Fair and Impartial Court’s Committee and member of Federal Practice Section.
   
Professional Data:

A member of Clendenen & Shea LLC in New Haven, Attorney Clendenen has served clients as a lawyer for over 40 years and has built his reputation trying state and federal court cases. He has argued numerous appeals in the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts and in the  United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Attorney Clendenen services as a Special Master for the U.S. District Court in Connecticut and as an attorney trial referee in the Connecticut Superior Court. He has served as Town Attorney in Madison and Branford. 

   
CBA Activities:

A member of: Consumer Law Section, Federal Practice Section, and Pro Bono Committee.

   
Other Professional Activities: Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers; Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers; Life fellow of the American Bar Foundation; Sustaining life fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation; Membership in: The Academy of Court-Appointed Masters, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the New Haven County Bar Association. Received awards from New Haven Legal Assistance Association, Inc. and  the Connecticut Bar Foundation
