Bill of Rights in Action

This program helps students to understand how the U.S. Constitution affects their lives. Attorneys spark lively classroom discussions with students on selected amendments, and situations focus specifically on students and their legal protections afforded to them under the Bill of Rights.

The choice of topics are:

  • First Amendment- Freedom of Religion
  • First Amendment- Free Speech v. Private Property
  • Fourth Amendment- Search and Seizure
  • Eighth Amendment- Protection from Unfair Punishments

Materials are provided*. This program is suitable for grades 9-12.
