The CBA is currently accepting nominations to fill the positions of vice president, secretary, treasurer, and assistant secretary-treasurer for the 2026-2027 bar year. CBA members are encouraged to submit their own names or names of other CBA members who may have an interest in serving as an officer of the association.

The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) is proud to announce the launch of a new Legal Resources Lending Library for CBA members. To help build this collection, the CBA is seeking donations of hard copy legal resource materials that members are willing to part with.

On December 21, volunteers from the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) gathered at Barnard Park in Hartford for a Day of Service in partnership with Food4Lives, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving unhoused and underserved individuals. On the evening of October 14, over 80 members of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (YLS) gathered at the Hartford Golf Club for the section’s 2025 Pro Bono Fair and Golf Event.

The Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS) hosted its annual leadership retreat on August 8-9 at Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard. The YLS Executive Committee holds this event each summer to familiarize new members of the committee with the duties of their leadership roles and to present awards to members of the committee for their service during the previous bar year.

Attorney Tamara J. Titre serves as deputy commissioner for the State of Connecticut Office of the Claims Commissioner and is the first person to be appointed the role of deputy claims commissioner. In this role, she oversees claims filed against the state.

Newman’s Own Foundation will receive the Distinguished Public Service Award at the CBA’s annual awards ceremony, Celebrate with the Stars, on Thursday, March 12.
