CBA Law Camp 2025
July 7 - July 11, 2025
Hartford, CT
CBA Law Camp exposes high school students to the legal profession and gives them instruction on critical and analytical thinking to help them succeed in their educational and professional careers. The week-long day camp includes panel discussions, mentorship, advocacy training, and preparing for a mock trial competition. Campers will meet attorneys, judges, and law students; observe court proceedings; and learn what it's like to be a lawyer.
There are a limited number of spots available. If students are interested in applying, they should complete and submit an application. The program committee will use the applications to make admissions decisions. The program's goal is to assist students who overcame adversity in their lives or would be the first member of their family to join the legal profession and cannot afford traditional private camps. For campers selected for admission, the program is free.
Attorneys can volunteer to present to the students or serve as a mentor to guide the students as they learn the techniques and skills necessary to effectively present their mock trial case. For more information about and to volunteer for CBA Law Camp, contact lawcamp@ctbar.org or 860-612-2015.
