CBA Seeks New Executive Director

The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) is seeking an Executive Director with a start date of January 2, 2025.
 
The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of the Connecticut Bar Association, Inc. (CBA) and the CT Bar Institute, Inc. (CTBI) (collectively, the Association). The Executive Director acts in the best interests of the membership in accordance with the policies and strategies approved by the leadership of the Association, which includes the CBA House of Delegates, CBA Board of Governors, and CTBI Board of Directors. The Executive Director reports to the Association’s leadership and works with and at the direction of the President of the Association to accomplish the Association’s goals.

The CBA is a volunteer bar, founded in 1875. Membership represents the entire spectrum of the Connecticut legal community, including private practitioners, judges, government and legal services attorneys, and corporate counsel. Membership also includes paralegals, students and other legal professionals. Among other things, the CBA’s purpose is to promote the public’s interests through the advancement of justice and the protection of liberty and to aid its members in the development and maintenance of their practices. In fulfilling its mission to lead the profession and serve the public interest, the CBA maintains relationships with the courts and the legislature.
