   Civility Matters: Discussions on Dealing with Difficult Lawyers and Difficult Situations

Description: The Connecticut Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”) has a program on the necessity for civility and professional behavior in the practice of law today.  The presentation includes a short video featuring commentary by nationally known judges and attorneys on the importance of all dealings with the court and opposing counsel, followed by video vignettes or fact situations presenting real world examples of unprofessional conduct.  Those will be followed by an interactive discussion with panel members and the audience to discuss effective strategies to deal with those examples and other every day ethical and civility problems lawyers encounter in their practice.
