About the Program
Connecticut employers must comply with safety standards under the federal Occupational Safety and Health Act, administered by the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Connecticut Occupational Safety and Health Act, administered by the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (CONN-OSHA). This panel will provide an overview of the inspection process and the responsibilities of both private and public sector employers under the federal and state statutes from a private practitioner, an OSHA compliance specialist, and a CONN-OSHA trainer. The panel will also discuss employee and whistleblower rights and the free CONN-OSHA consultation process that is available to all Connecticut employers.

The Connecticut Bar Association/CT Bar Institute is an accredited provider of New York State CLE. This program qualifies for newly admitted and experienced attorneys CLE credits.
Attorneys seeking NY CLE credit who have been admitted to the New York State Bar for two years or less must attend the live seminar for skills or ethics credit, a fully interactive videoconference, or simultaneous transmission with synchronous interactivity. Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias CLE credits are only available as non-transitional credits.
